About Gotong

Gotong is a Southeast Asia-first services execution platform that enables trust-anchored transactions between buyers and service providers.

We started in Singapore because buyers deserve a reliable, transparent way to find and hire vetted professionals — and providers deserve a platform that pays them fairly and on time.

Every transaction on Gotong is protected by Payment Protection. Funds are held securely by our licensed payment partner until buyers approve the work — so providers get paid for work done and buyers are protected from no-shows.

Gotong is named after the Malay principle of gotong royong — communal cooperation. We believe the best marketplaces are ones where both sides prosper.

Phase 1 — Singapore

Our initial focus is connecting Singapore buyers with verified service providers across education, home services, health, business, and creative verticals. All providers are identity-verified and, where applicable, credential-checked. Payments are processed via Stripe Payments (SG rails) with support for card, PayNow, and GrabPay.
